Funded Research
Since 1983, the Program has invested over $200 million to sponsor nearly 2,000 research projects on HIV/AIDS in California. CHRP currently provides research and training awards that foster the next generation of HIV/AIDS researchers, allows established and young investigators to compete successfully for additional funding, supports institutional collaborations, and funds critical targeted research.
